Submit your Working With Children Check (WWCC) details.

Warragul Swimming Club is a volunteer-run organisation, and all parents are expected to contribute volunteer time; the club has a great culture in this regard!

A Working With Children Check is needed for any person who volunteers, including parents, guardians, grandparents, or any other adults who may volunteer at swimming meets, training or other club events. Volunteer roles include setting up / packing down swimming meets, catering, timekeeping, marshalling, runners, team managers, committee members, Member Protection Officer, or any other club volunteer role that takes place in proximity to children. Here is what you need to do:

Step 1

If you don’t already have one, apply for a Working With Children Check. As part of this, you will need to nominate Warragul Swimming Club as an organisation you volunteer with.

For school teachers only: do not apply for a Working With Children Check. Instead, complete a Working With Children Check (WWCC) teacher notification.

Both of these processes are free, and only take a few minutes.

Step 2

When you apply for your Working With Children Check - or if you already have one - you will need to add the club as an organisation where you volunteer.

These are the details to add:

Organisation name: WARRAGUL SWIMMING CLUB

Address: 21 BURKE STREET, WARRAGUL VIC 3820

Phone: 0428584809

Email: childsafety@warragulswimmingclub.com.au
