Warragul Swimming Club constitution

The Warragul Swimming Club constitution sets out the rules for the operation of the club.

Warragul Swimming Club policies

As a club registered with Swimming Victoria, all members are bound by - and implement as our own - the Swimming Australia National Integrity Framework (NIF) policies.

The NIF consists of four central policies that all adopting sporting organizations must implement:

  1. Safeguarding Children and Young People: Sets strict guidelines to protect minors from harassment, abuse, or improper conduct.

  2. Member Protection: Addresses bullying, harassment, and discrimination based on protected characteristics (e.g., race, gender, disability).

  3. Competition Manipulation and Sports Wagering: Prohibits match-fixing, inside betting, and taking bribes.

  4. Improper Use of Drugs and Medicines: Regulates the distribution of supplements, prohibits unauthorized injections, and governs the use of illicit substances in sport.

Complaints and disputes

All of the core policies are underpinned by the Complaints, Disputes and Discipline Policy. This policy outlines the independent process for reporting breaches, investigating incidents, and holding individuals accountable for prohibited conduct.

To ensure currency, you can view each of these policies - which are the policies of Warragul Swimming Club - on the Swimming Australia website.

There are also fact sheets available from Sport Integrity Australia that explain each of the policies.

Warragul Swimming Club code of conduct

All members of Warragul Swimming Club are also bound by the Swimming Australia Code of Conduct.
